Our Kent Elementary PTA wants to thank all of our amazing members for all the times you helped us raise funds, bless our staff with food supplies or volunteer hours. Because of all your amazing contributions, we have been able to have great first half of the school year.
Not a member? It's not too late to join! The best way for you to support the PTA is to pay for a membership for the whole family. All (students, grandparents, friends, etc...) are welcome to join. Make your $7 donation go a long way in helping our staff after the winter break! |

VOLUNTEERS
|
The Kent PTA sponsors a volunteer opportunity called Tuesday Helping Hands. We are looking for 1-2 more people to join the team.
Here's what we do every Tuesday during the school year:
- We meet in the teacher lounge after drop-off on Tuesday mornings (we do not visit or work in classrooms or visit our children while on campus)
- Mostly we complete lamination/cutting, copy jobs, print and cut the red tickets, stock the workroom, and more!
- Sometimes we get recruited to help with picture day and any needs Ms. Hodge may have.
- We touch base with a text on Monday evenings to get a headcount for the next morning.
Currently, our members can stay until about 8:30am. Our most urgent need now is someone available to come in at drop off or around 7:45 and stay a bit later than 8:30 am.
Tuesday Helping Hands is organized by Lorrie Engel, mother of 5th grade twin boys.
