CFBISD requires all volunteers to complete a background check prior to volunteering at school functions or on campus. Details will be available at a later date, and we will update all volunteers once this information is available. Please check back here on our website for updates on how to complete this background check in the future.

Lead Room Parent: Work directly with the teachers to plan and coordinate classroom events and parties, communicate classroom events with other parents and coordinate with other parents to sign up and bring supplies as needed.
Reflections Art Program: Work alongside the PTA Reflections chairperson to promote the long-standing art program by distributing information to students and families about deadlines and program rules, collect art work in a manner that preserves its condition, help assemble a panel of judges to evaluate student submissions and support the efforts of the Council PTA related to the Reflections Arts Program.
Tuesday Helping Hands: Work with other volunteers to support teacher and staff requests for making classroom copies, putting together Tuesday Folders, and laminating classroom materials.
Book Fair: Assist book fair team with decorations, setup, and student and teacher previews. Volunteers will also help work the book fair sales, helping students make a wish list, and cleanup afterwards. This will include shifts at the Saturday family shopping day and throughout the Book Fair week. This event is typically help in the Spring.
Hospitality: Work alongside other parents to help set up, coordinate food/drink donations for events, and clean up special events at the school like teacher appreciation breakfast along with other events throughout the school year.
